Below is a sample schedule of events for MASI. Note that the schedule, field trips, and other events will probably change before the start of MASI in July.

July 15-17

Mornings:  Introductions | Guest Lectures and Presentations | Project Planning | Visit Artist Studios

Lunch:  Provided by MASI (usually at a field trip site)

Afternoons:  Field Trips to: Local Sustainable and Heirloom Farms, Pemaquid Point and Rachel Carson Salt Pond, Langlais Studio and Compound (Cushing, ME)

Thursday evening overnight campout in Bristol, ME. Friday morning field trip to Hog Island


Students are encouraged to work on their projects on their own in their own space or a space setup through MASI. Appointments can also be made with an Artist Mentor.

July 20-22
